  • TMJ dysfunction treatment
If you suffer from TMJ Dysfunction (Temporomandibular joint dysfunction) diagnosed by your physician or dentist, or even if you experience jaw pain and mobility restrictions, this treatment will help manage your pain and can correct jaw alignment and mobility restrictions. Besides jaw pain and mobility restrictions, some more common side effects of TMJD can be jaw clicking, biting discomfort, facial pain, earaches, and headaches. TMJD treatment will always start with preparing for the deeper internal ("intra-oral") jaw muscle work (masseter and pterygoids) by working on the superficial, larger soft tissue such as the back, neck and shoulders. The deeper jaw musculature can play a huge part in jaw misalignment and mobility restrictions. The intra-oral muscle work will be done with non-latex gloves at a safe pace for you. If your TMJ dysfunction is a fairly minor case a few treatments will likely take care of the problem, but if you suffer from a more severe case several treatments may be needed to realize optimal results.
  • Headache/migrane treatment
I have treated several clients with migraine and tension headaches with great success. Massage to your upper back, neck, and shoulders, along with some very subtle techniques used on the skull and facial bones will help decrease your headache, oftentimes there is immediate relief. My clients who have been treated for headaches have found a decrease in their headaches' frequency and intensity.
